Christmas is fast approaching and the weather networks are dropping a bomb, a Santa bomb (#santabomb) on us about the adverse weather we could be facing Christmas Eve and Christmas day in Ontario.
Environment Canada has been tracking a large system that will bring some form of precipitation to Toronto and much of Ontario on Christmas Eve, but they do not know for sure if it will be snow, freezing rain or rain. Many Twitter users have referred to this storm as the #SantaBomb storm because it is scheduled to arrive on Christmas Eve. The name Santa Bomb has also been chosen because the storm could be classified as a weather bomb which is a rapidly deepening low pressure system.
